Jeff and Nicole’s love story is one that feels both incredibly classic and wonderfully unique. On September 19, 2025, we had the honor of documenting their legacy with our full photography and cinematography team. The entire celebration took place in the heart of Downtown Detroit, centering around the historic and unparalleled Detroit Athletic Club (DAC). It was a wedding weekend built on deep family connections, rich heritage, and an undeniable energy.

The morning began with quiet intentionality within the historic rooms of the DAC. We documented the bespoke details Jeff and Nicole so carefully curated before transitioning into the joyful, unscripted moments of their preparations. Immersed in the incredible energy and deep traditions of their families, the atmosphere felt delightfully reminiscent of My Big Fat Greek Wedding. By utilizing a discreet, multi-angle cinematic approach—from sweeping balcony perspectives to intimate aisle framing—we ensured the solemn beauty and joyful energy of the moment were preserved flawlessly, without ever interrupting the sacred space.
The Portraits & Evening Prelude: Architectural Elegance at the DAC
Following the ceremony, the celebration took to the streets of downtown Detroit. Traveling via a luxury party bus, we captured the festive, high-energy dynamic of the bridal party as they made their way back to the Detroit Athletic Club.
As an architectural masterpiece, the DAC provided a historic backdrop that perfectly mirrored Jeff and Nicole’s elegant aesthetic. Before joining their guests, we stepped away with the couple for an intimate, editorial portrait session, capturing timeless moments on the grand staircase and within the opulent, wood-paneled Reading Room.
The celebration then transitioned seamlessly into an elegant cocktail hour. We documented the sophisticated details of the room and the traditional cutting of the cake, setting a beautifully refined tone just before the main reception officially began.
